Safety is our Top Priority
Job site safety is our utmost priority. Loder Construction has developed an approach that allows for Job Site Safety to be observed in every phase of construction regardless of its size and complexity. We are proud to say that our system has worked since its conception, as we have not had a documented injury since implementation.
During our start-up meeting, all involved parties are to attend a mandatory safety meeting. This outlines the idiosyncrasies of the project’s locations and logistics that will affect the safety of the subcontractors and their crew. Just the acknowledgment of the locations and times of the greatest risk, prevents the majorly of hazards.
Clearly Defined Safety Policies
We post them on the wall, literally. For the duration of the project a list of Safety Policies’ are attached to the walls of our projects. It is customized for every project and amended with the preventive measures discussed and approved during the Start-up Safety Meeting.
Weekly Safety Meetings and Orientation
All work crews are subject to safety orientation weekly and upon their initial site visit. This results in a cohesiveness among crews, as well as familiarity of the project layout and schedule. The crews work as a team which benefits all parties.
Investing and maintaining in accountable Site Safety
At the heart of our approach is accountability. We insure that everyone involved with in the project is notified of changes to the Safety Policies. Loder Construction’s Superintendent is on site full-time enforcing the Safety Polices and leading the safety meetings.
